Trailing only China, IMS Research predicts that Japan will be the second-largest solar market in the world in 2013 (in terms of total installed solar power). Since the country’s ¥42/kWh solar feed-in tariff was implemented last summer, the country has added about 1.119 gigawatts (1,119 megawatts) of solar power capacity.
