Westinghouse Solar and Australian renewable energy company CBD Energy have a merger inching towards completion. Wait, do the Aussie’s also uses inches? Anyway, approval from shareholders is expected in Q3 2013. Once merged, Westinghouse Solar will be able to sell its rooftop solar panels in Australia, where solar is hitting grid parity in an increasing number of places.
Of course, Westinghouse Solar is excited about the potential. We’ll see what comes of it, and will keep you updated as more news arises.
