Intro To Solar Video

Watch this An Intro To Solar video. This brief mico-film from Arizona utility SRP explains solar energy’s tremendous potential.

The video highlights the strong future solar can have, especially in the sunniest spots: such as the Southwestern US, including Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, and parts of Texas.

California installed in the first quarter of 2014 959 MW of solar energy, an impressive amount of solar power by almost any standard.

If one day of solar radiation can provide a nation its energy needs for an entire year, imagine the potential if we harnessed much less of that sunlight but every day of the week for our energy supply?

With 142,698 jobs and growing in the US, solar is a good, clean investment with bountiful energy to power our needs. Let’s keep it up!
